2024 Stablemates Club Releases

I'm officially joining the club for next year! They managed to lure me in with all these fancy ponies. 

Augustus

What an absolute unit. This one looks to be the artist's copy. Wonder what the 'real' factory paintjob will look like. Hopefully similar enough! He looks really nice in this photo.

Lanin

I love a good roached mane! A FCM of the Mirado mold. His pinto pattern is very striking, too. 

Wallowa (Matte/Glossy Split)

This mold hasn't been used in ~25 years! It's making a very flashy comeback. I'll likely be selling my copy, as it just isn't my cup of tea. Can't put my finger on why, though. 😅

Newport

Another FCM! On the Running TB mold. I really like this one. Will be a very welcome to my collection!

Dylan

Here's a cute little Anamar lookalike! Not sure how I feel about the masked dapples, but she(?)'s still a lovely looking model.

Miguel

So cute! I like the two on the left side the best. The zonkey is really cute, though!

Hadley and Holden (One of Two Foals Randomly Shipped)

The Cassidy looks so much like the mare I ride! That mold looks *really* nice in a dun coloring. The foals look awesome too. The laying one if my favorite of the two, I think!

Breyer seems to be leaning more and more into factory customizations of current molds! I like it. Gives a lot more variety. I'm excited to see all these guys in person! Definitely will boost the numbers in the SM herd, lol!

Wassail Revealed

The 'coal' variation had 24 pieces total made. The rest were 650 made of each color.

Glad I passed, honestly. (Yes, I'm still a bit salty on the photo situation.)

Seeing some nice in hand photos, though!

- Christmas Morning Surprise -

 If you haven't seen already, the much anticipated Christmas Morning Surprise model will be coming early! It will be available to purchase * Today, at 11 am EST * !

Update- 

His name is Wassail, on the Huckleberry Bay mold! Breyer is being silly and isn't showing pics of him, though. They say he'll be revealed on Christmas. Well, I *was* likely going to buy whatever it was, but, I'm kinda mad that they're not showing pics of the variations, and I'm having a really hard time picturing them in my head. But, oh well. I hope those who bought him will enjoy him! :)

He's sold out, now. Took about 4 hours, which is longer than what some other Christmas Morning Surprises have been.

Here's the list of color variations. Breyer took it off the official page for him, for whatever reason. Breyer being Breyer, I guess.

Almost sounds that they'll look vintage? Which I'm not a fan of, so, maybe I dodged a bullet with this one?

7 Months In The Making

 Guess what, y'all! I *finally* finished the blog collab challenge!

I am very pleased with how he turned out! I was *this* 🤏close to stripping the paint and starting over, but, I pushed through, and got this beautiful pony in the end!

 

I'm especially happy with his hooves. Probably some of the best I've ever painted! :)

I'd love to try this challenge out again some time in the future. Hopefully I can complete it much more quickly!

A Piebald Delight

Breyer released another model in the Animal Series! I'm pretty excited about this one.

Garret, a piebald deer! The white-tailed deer mold hasn't been used in quite a while, so it's nice to see it make an appearance again. He is priced at $135.00 plus shipping. 

Very tempting to buy, especially since I fairly recently saw a piebald while on vacation. That's the only one I've ever seen in person before, and he was only about 30 feet away! I've seen plenty of white ones around my house though, which I find very interesting. :)

Winterfest also started today, and it looks like the exclusives have yet to sell out!
