This is stumping collectors- no one so far has been able to identify the mold. I'm most likely not going to be purchasing him/her anyway, as I'm not a fan of Breyer's palominos. 

It's hard to tell what finish this model is in. Maybe satin matte?

The 4th Collector Club Test Run!

Another bear?

A super cute bear, with a not so cute price tag of $1,000. I do like this coloring much more than the Breyerfest gummy bears though. It seems like they weren't too popular with the fans. Maybe Breyer will take the hint and give the mold a break for a little while.

In other news, Johann is going to be available tomorrow at 2:00 PM EDT. I'm going to pass on this one, as I only like 1/4, and I don't like those odds. Maybe I'll buy the bay on the 2nd hand market someday. He seems to be the less popular, so hopefully there's a chance at a decent priced one.

Halloween Models! 🎃

Breyer has revealed all of the models that will be for sale tomorrow.

Tabitha was the Collector Club sneak peak that we saw last month. She's cute, but nothing I need. I love her design though. It feels a little more festive than rats or cats, like past classic releases.

Next, the blind bag stablemates! I adore the mini Samhain, the other two are very nice as well. I don't seem to remember what the big versions of the other two looked like (time for some research!).

Maelstrom will be available, and is featured on a pin and a hoodie. There's also a plush, I'm sure he'll be popular!

Fall Releases!

 Looks like this dry period of news and releases is finally over.

I'm not a huge fan of the Fighting Stallion, but oh my- that Bobby Jo is gorgeous! The gloss makes her color look even more lovely. I might need to get her...

I find it interesting that only around 900 are going to be available before 2023, most likely due to her being delayed.

Speaking of delays, the gambler's choice classics and Chadwick should be showing up soon. I can't remember which one is supposedly getting released first, but lets hope they aren't going to be even more delayed than they already are.

Identifyyourbreyer Is Back!

 The site is now getting updated by a group of three amazing people.

"We are happy to announce that Identify Your Breyer (and its sister sites) are being updated! Janice, who started IDYB, passed away unexpectedly in 2021. Going forward, there will be three curators working together to manage the sites. We have been working with her family to carefully transfer all of the websites and set up things behind-the-scenes, and now that everything is finalized and we’ve been able to bring IDYB up-to-date, we’re pleased to announce this formally. The curator group consists of three collectors: Stephanie Michel of Minnesota, Eleda Towle of Maine, and Stephanie Van Horne of Quebec, Canada. We each bring a different skillset, but we all agree that Janice’s work and memory should be respected. IDYB will always be her baby, and now it will live on in tribute to the twenty years she spent building it."

Currently, they are working behind the scenes, but they should soon be updating all of the information. I am so thankful for what they are doing, as I'm sure many other collectors are.
