How I Display My Collection!

After five years of seriously collecting, I have developed how I like to display my models.

I only recently found a style/method that I really like. I originally didn't care very much how I displayed them. I had been displaying them just so you could see their fronts.

Example from early 2020. (Please excuse poor photo quality!)

Two years ago I decided to sell off a lot of my models that I didn't like as much as I used to. After purging approximately one-third of my models, I had a lot of extra shelf space. So I began experimenting how to make the most out of the extra room, which led to displaying models angled to the side so I could see them better.

Fast forward to the present. I display my models angled sideways, and by breed. If I have a large amount of a certain breed/type of horse, I sort them by their mold (if they are standing or running for example).

Stock horses displayed by mold.

Spanish horses
Stock horses + draft displayed together because of mold similarities.

In the near future I will post my collection photos. Stay tuned! :)

  1. Nice! All my models are diagonally angled as well, except for my SMs. I sort by color/mold/breed depending on what looks best.

  2. I don't have very many SMs, so I just randomly place them at the top of my shelving unit lol. I am hoping to get more though! :)

  3. I have about 45-75 at any given time, but that fluctuates depending on how many personal piece customs are coming and going. :)
